Julie Delpy and Jean-Claude Brisseau in NonStop Entertainment’s new acquisitions

NonStop Entertainment acquires two promising French titles from Rezo Films: the romantic-comedy Two Days in Paris by Julie Delpy and the erotic drama Exterminating Angels by Jean-Claude Brisseau.

In Two Days in Paris Oscar-nominated screenwriter Julie Delpy has once again applied herself in creating a deep, emotional and engaging relationship comedy. Delpy may be best known for her co-starring role with Ethan Hawke in Before Sunrise; a film that received glowing reviews and was considered one of the most interesting films of the independent film movement of the 1990´s.
Delpy has penned and is directing Two Days in Paris as well as playing the lead role as the French girl Marion. Adam Goldberg (Deja Vù) performs the role as the American boyfriend who has some trouble in adjusting to the French manners on a two days trip to Marion’s home town Paris.
Two Days in Paris will premiere at the Berlin Film Festival 2007 and opens in France in March 2007. NonStop Entertainment is distributing the film in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.

In Exterminating Angels director and scriptwriter Jean-Claude Brisseau (Secret Things) wants to know why the depiction of sex is so often accompanied by violence and hypocrisy. Premiering at the Cannes Film Festival 2006, Exterminating Angels was in the Official Selection as well as in Director’s Fortnight. This erotic drama has an aristocratic tone, a meticulously stylised production design and carefully conceived build up. NonStop Entertainment is distributing Exterminating Angels in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.
