NonStop Entertainment’s Cannes deal roundup

NonStop Entertainment exit Cannes Film Festival 2015 with a Nordic launch set for ”Ingrid Bergman - In Her Own Words” and Scandinavian rights to ”Three Generations” starring Susan Sarandon, Naomi Watts & Elle Fanning, Josh Mond's Sundance selected debut ”James White” and the opener to this year’s Un Certain Regard Naomi Kawase´s ”An”.

Stig Björkman's Cannes Classics selected Ingrid Bergman - In Her Own Words from producer Mantaray Film, distributed by NonStop Entertainment in Scandinavia, Iceland, Baltics is set for an August 28th release in the terrirrory, the day before Ingrid Bergman's centennial.

Three Generations - for Scandinavia, acquired from IM Global, which has the international rights to the film, starring Susan Sarandon, Naomi Watts & Elle Fanning, and which was recently sold to The Weinstein Company for $6m for North America. 
 
James White - Josh Mond's Sundance selected debut starring Christopher Abbot and Cynthia Nixon from Memento Film Sales for Scandinavia, Iceland & the Baltics.
 
An - the opener to this year’s Un Certain Regard directed by Naomi Kawase acquired from MK2 for Scandi Iceland and Baltics.

Experimenter - The Sundance selected movie starring Peter Sarsgaard & Winona Ryder on the Standford prison experiments, from Bleiberg Entertainment for Scandinavia & Iceland
 
Clublife, starring Jesse Ferrera from Entourage in classic rags to riches story about a club promoter in NYC, acquired from Bleiberg Entertainment for Scandinavia including Iceland.
 
Lost Soul David Gregory’s documentary chronicling director Richard Stanley's disastrous attempt at film the Island Of Dr Moreau with Marlon Brando from Severine Films for Scandinavia including Iceland & Baltics.
 
Our Last Tango - by director German Kral about the passionate and complicated relationship between Argentine tango stars María Nieves Rego and Juan Carlos Copes. Acquired from Lailaps Pictures & German Kral Filmproduktion for Scandi & Batics.

Game Count - an adaption of Olga Tokarczuk’s bestselling novel Drive Your Plough over the Bones of the Dead by renowned Polish director Agnieszka Holland. Acquired for Scandi & Iceland from Chimney.
