16-year old Alice is quite the problem child. Lying, skipping school, bullying her classmates, she shows little concern for her actions. Alice is far from the charming girl her mother adopted, but when it turns out Alice is pregnant, they find common grounds in their otherwise strained relationship.
Director Radu Muntean was nominated for the Un Certain Regard-award at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival for One Floor Below (2015). His latest feature Alice T. stars Andra Guti (Dupa ea) as the rebellious daughter and Mihaela Shirbu (Aferim!) as the mother whose unconditional love is put to challenge.
