About the movie

Host follows a group of friends as they meet up for their weekly Zoom session during lockdown. During one of their gatherings, they attempt a seance over video led by a mysterious Irish medium. When a drinking game leads to some of the friends accidentally disrespecting the spirit during the seance, things quickly go wrong. When the friends begin noticing strange occurrences – an evil spirit starts invading their homes and they quickly begin to realize that they might not survive the night.
Written and directed by British director Rob Savage, Host is a contemporary and innovative horror feature film shot entirely on Zoom. The film has received widespread critical acclaim for its innovative take on the found-footage film horror format.
