Buster Keaton, one of America’s most influential and celebrated filmmakers and comedians, created a great cinematic legacy during the silent era. Filled with stunningly restored archival Keaton films, The Great Buster covers the life and work of the late and great comedian.
With appearances from cinematic peers Mel Brooks, Quentin Tarantino, Werner Herzog, Dick van Dyke, Johnny Knoxville and many more, the documentary portrays Keaton’s influence on modern comedy and cinema. Directed by critically acclaimed Peter Bogdanovich, whose portrayal of the iconic filmmaker won the prize for Best Documentary On Cinema at the 2018 Venice Film Festival.
