Battle Over Britain is set in and around an airfield dispersal hut during the height of the Battle of Britain. A young pilot, fresh out of training, joins a Flight as a replacement as they wait for the call to scramble. Throughout the day we see the Flight in action over southern England – witnessing the deadly dog fights first-hand. After every exhausting battle the pilots return to the dispersal hut to find another of their number missing. In a thrilling climax, the airfield come under direct attack. From the ground and in the air, we see the Flight go into action against overwhelming odds…
