About the movie

Detective Tadek (Jim Carrey) takes on a gruesome cold case concerning the murder of a businessman, to realize it bears an uncanny likeness to the murder in a recent crime novel by a man named Kozlow (Marton Csokas). What might be just a coincident, could as well be a keeper of a darker secret.
DARK CRIMES is a tense crime story, loosly based on the article “True Crime: A postmodern murder mystery”, that raised worldwide interest when published in The New Yorker in 2008. In the lead role is Golden Globe-winning, critically acclaimed and beloved actor Jim Carrey (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Truman Show), accompanied by Marton Csokas (Noah, The Amazing Spider-Man), Charlotte Gainsbourg (Melancholia, Nymphomaniac, Antichrist) and Kati Outinen (The Man Without a Past, The Match Factory Girl).
