About the movie

English teacher Paul Ashworth follows his team through thick and thin, his obsession with Arsenal is what defines him. But one day, he meets Sarah. And as Paul’s mood follows Arsenal’s ups and downs, it’s almost as if Sarah is dating a football team rather than a person. A situation that is obviously not sustainable.
Fever Pitch is the first in a line of adaptations from Nick Hornby novels, followed by successes High Fidelity and About a Boy. The beloved, bestselling author has since gone on to writing the screenplays for Academy Award nominated pictures Wild and Brooklyn.
