In 1960s Los Angeles, 26-yeard-old actress Sharon Tate has just recently moved into a new house where she and director Roman Polanski is about to start their family as Sharon is eight months pregnant with their first child. Roman is in London working on his next film while Sharon is still in Los Angeles. What should be an enjoyable time in Los Angeles turns sinister when a series of strange events starts occurring when a man named ‘Charles’ comes around looking for the previous house owner. Sharon’s house guests convince her that she is paranoid, but her worst nightmares come to life with the appearance of Charles cult followers.
Written and directed by American filmmaker Daniel Farrands, The Haunting of Sharon Tate explores and re-imagines the 26-year-old Sharon Tate’s final days before passing away in one of Hollywood’s most infamous murders by the Charles Manson’s family of followers.
