About the movie

Narrated by the elderly Emperor Claudius, I, Claudius follows the history of the early Roman Empire from the death of Marcellus to that of Claudius himself. Upon its release, I, Claudius was awarded with a Primetime Emmy for its Outstanding Art Direction for a Drama Series, as well as three BAFTA Awards, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Design.
