Hear famous manifestos and writings from Sol LeWitt, André Breton, Karl Marx, Jim Jarmusch and Werner Herzog among others performed in monologue by Cate Blanchett who takes on 13 different personas. She transcends both gender, age and class in humorous, inspiring and hypnotic ways as she recites famous writings in a variety of unexpected contexts.
Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett is no stranger to portraying characters of different gender and age, in 2008 she earned an Oscar nomination for her performance as Bob Dylan in the biography ‘I’m not there’. Now she takes on 13 different character under the lead of director Julian Rosefeldt in his feature film version of a multi-screen art installation. Official selection at Sundance Film Festival 2017.
