About the movie

A mysterious boarding school named Paradise, perfectly reforms disobedient girls through unconventional approaches to fit their surroundings’ exact desires. When Uma wakes up in Paradise after rejecting the proposal of a rich man, she is determined to leave at all costs. Together with three other women who are also held there against their will, they plan to make a break for it before their individualities are conformed in the twisted facility of Paradise.
Paradise Hills is the extraordinary feature debut for Alice Waddington, starring some of film’s brightest stars; Emma Roberts (American Horror Story), Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians), Danielle Macdonald (Bird Box), Eiza González (Baby Driver), Jeremy Irvine (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) and Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil). Its premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, garnered critics’ as well as audiences’ appraisal for it being an inventive extravaganza and empowering tale for females in the world of fantasy.
