Drama, Horror, Thriller
Following his parents’ separation, Ben is sent to live with his father for the summer and work at the local marina in order to gain some form of discipline and structure in his life. The idyllic tourist town offers little solace for him with local privileged teens and his father’s new girlfriend. But Ben’s problems grow increasingly smaller when he does the chilling discovery about the family renting the house next door. What Ben thought would be an ordinary summer turns out to be anything but that when he crosses paths with an ancient evil witch from the woods who possesses the power to hitch onto human hosts and manipulate minds.
Written and directed by The Pierce Brothers, Wretched is their latest horror film, which sparks homage the 80s. The film premiered at Fantasia International Film Festival.
